Big Brothers Big Sisters of Athens Organization was founded in 1909. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Athens, Ohio. Our service area includes Athens County and parts of Hocking, Meigs, Perry, Morgan, and Washington Counties.

We also understand that through a mentor relationship that enhances youngsters grow into healthy and productive adults, the increasingly complicated demands of today’s society may be met with sensitivity and simplicity.
